Lush Green Pink Lake - Original Painting
The Honeyed Times’ Collection: “Lush Green Pink Lake" 11’’ x 15’’
“Lush Green Pink Lake" captures Gatineau Park’s Pink Lake, in Québec, Canada. The lake is famous for its green colour in the summer, from the concentrations of algae in the water. Also its green is vivified from the reflections of the surrounding trees.
Walking the trail around Pink Lake on a gorgeous summer day an adventure. It was a deluge of abundance! I saw tadpoles, crayfish, flakes of mica minerals, waterlilies, and fantastic fungi. The lake itself was peaceful and vibrantly green.
I hope that the verdant lushness of this painting inspires you to collect this watercolour.
Created as a part of the Honeyed Times’ Series. Learn more about this series, its inspiration, and sentiments that rooted my process, HERE.
