"The Tornado Cloud Has Passed" - Print
“The Tornado Cloud Has Passed” captures the disbursing storm that followed from a passing tornado cloud over Jackfish Lake, in Northern Saskatchewan.
The family cabin is a sacred place for anyone. It is like a time capsule. The same boats, the same deck chairs strewn across the beach, the same plastic buckets forgotten in the sand adorn the beach, and the lake stays the same year after year and capture the quintessential elements of carefree cabin life and summer.
This painting illustrates the lake after the main storm from the tornado cloud the clouds dissipate, revealing a light and airy sky, while the white capped waves continue rolling forwards full of momentum.
I hope that this composition catches your eye and entices you to add it to your collection.
